Chris Matthews - Birther

Racist Birther
Real Clear Politics has a video of Matthews asking the essential birther question - if everything is legit then why not just put it out there and get this over with? Absolutely. That puts Matthews with his non-tingling leg in the birther camp.

Now ridicule is the main tool people like to use when their opposition makes a point they can't defend. So they call these people crazy simply because they require actual proof. But what is crazy is to hide something when there is no reason to hide it.

In the photo Matthews is showing a copy of a long form from someone born the day before Obama. As you can tell there is a lot more information and signatures.

Chinese Warning Shot?

Apparently the Chinese fired a warning shot from a sub in Lake Eufaula and it can be seen flying over my house in Oklahoma.  Hopefully we can get some ex-military experts on this.

Unfortunately by the time I got my camera clouds had obscured the full contrail. It did give the illusion that it was going upward and away from me.

The Ego-In-Chief

With the Nobel Peace Prize given to Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo the President's statement began with this:
"One year ago, I was humbled to receive the Nobel Peace Prize -- an award that speaks to our highest aspirations, and that has been claimed by giants of history and courageous advocates who have sacrificed for freedom and justice."

He places himself in the company of the 'giants of history' who have sacrificed for freedom and justice. So I have composed a list of his accomplishments and sacrifices for these noble causes:

The List

This guy is in serious need of counseling... or maybe a major humbling event such as getting his clock cleaned by a landslide defeat in 2012.

Euopean Socialists: Running Out of Other People's Money

What we are seeing is the European Socialist economic model running out of other people's money.  Ireland on the brink. It will get worse before it gets better.

And our brilliant Democrats want to emulate this failed system even as it collapses before their very eyes.

Glad His Rights Were Violated.

Very disturbing. This guy didn't care if he killed children and destroyed families. There comes a point we need to get off this idea that 'we are better than that' and come to an understanding that those among us who wish to deny others of their rights have forfeited theirs willfully. Watch this guy get off because of entrapment by some idiot liberal judge.

After reading the comments from the article and some of the potential victims actually defending this poor wayward young man I am reminded of one of my observations about the anti-survival impulses brought on by an affliction of liberalism:

An IOpian view on Survival:
Any being or entity too stupid to recognize a threat to its existence or having recognized the threat inhibits action to remove that threat deserves its impending fate.

Update: As chance would have it, Gateway Pundit has a post today showing this behavior in action. Luckily someone stepped in and protected Portland liberals from their own diminished thinking.

I'll throw this one in for good measure:

An IOpian view on the Left's Cognitive Dissonance:
In general terms it takes about two years for the Left to realize what the Right notices immediately.

It's 58 or 59 States, Not 57

Have been reading a lot about Obama's faux pas concerning the number of states. The common mistake is that he believes there are 57 states. BUT, if you go back and watch the video he had been to 57 states with one more to go. That's 58 states. Technically 59 if you count the two he mentions he hadn't been to. This is exactly how pop culture gets it wrong through repetition of inaccuracies.

Raw Talent Saturday

Sometimes while net surfing you run across something you've missed for years. I am not sure where I found the original video but it was an American blues player on a English show. His name is Seasick Steve. The guy is a delight and one hell of a pure bluesman in the delta traditional. He is apparently quite the rage in Europe. On one of his videos he was joined by a singer named Amy LaVere. I checked into her and was blown away by raw talent with a unique sound and presentation.

Enjoy... love this groove...

Oh what the hell... here's Seasick Steve.

Now that's blues like it ought to be done. By someone that lived it.

The Audacity of Dopes ?

I find it odd that John Kerry is going hat in hand to his supporters at this time - four years before he is up for re-election. Perhaps we are about to see a battle between two of the biggest liberal egos for the 2012 Democratic nomination. It would be interesting and humbling for Obama to be challenged.

Why America Won't Buy Palinism - The Daily Dish | By Andrew Sullivan

Sullivan misses the point that this wasn't directed at the President but rather at his media apologists employing a double-standard towards those they do not agree with politically while protecting those they agree with when they make the same mistakes. He does the very thing she is ridiculing with this post about her, someone he despises. He would not do the same thing with a politician he supports.

It's The Rules of Engagement Stupid.

What good are battle tanks in Afghanistan if the rules of engagement don't let them use their power? Nothing put targets for RPG's from 'friendly' villages. We are still fighting with one hand tied behind our backs. Washington needs to back off and let the military conduct military operations. Are far as Karzi he can either take it or leave it. We'll be glad to pull out and let him have it his way.

Obamacare: Death by Starvation

The outright repeal of Obamacare is effectively out of the picture for the next two years while the Democrats hold the Presidency and the Senate. However, Republicans are in the position to starve it into oblivion by Constitutional means:
Article 1 Section 7:

All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.

The key to implementation is the establishment of these exchanges in each state. Do not fund them. Stall until the next election cycle and hope for a Republican President and Senate when repeal is more likely to pass.

Of course Republicans could just use a Pelosi tactic and just deem it so.

Obama Learns About Compromise

Now that the President 'I Won' sees his political fate wilting he wants the Republicans to work with him to move his agenda forward. The measure of compromise the Republicans should offer is the equal measure provided to them during the health-care fiasco by the Democrats- absolutely none and John Boehner ought to say so publicly.

I fail to recognize his 'genius' as purported by starry-eyed Democrats... the guy is an arrogant naive twit. I anxiously await the Chief Justice Robert's presiding over his impeachment in the Senate. His little petty power SOTU stunt may come back to bite him. Political lessons learned too late and at great cost.

King Obama's Idiocractic Thugocracy

Michelle Malkin has an article today listing the many actions that define a Thugocracy ( The Obamanite Progressives ).  From the methods they employ they should actually be called Regressives.

Anyway, it is a good list of union style muscle tactics these people have to employ to compensate for the lack of substance and logical continuity in their public policies.

Time Gets A Clue, A Little Overdue

I have long held the observation that it takes a liberal about two years to realize what a conservative is immediately aware of.  I think I will call this the Iopian View Rule of Reality Recognition.

This article is actually from Time magazine of all places and it acknowledges the observation made by conservatives two years ago during the election that executive experience does indeed matter as an attribute of a presidential candidate.

Perils of Power Exchange

NOvember 2 is approaching and I fear a political disaster. Though I am hopeful that the Obama agenda will be stopped in its tracks my fear is predicated on the idea that conservatism could end up being a victim of its own success if Congress changes hands for these reasons:

1) Suppose conservatives do take control and the markets respond positively with a party with a mandate for fiscal discipline. Once confidence is re-established locked up funds begin to release into the economy and we begin to see improvement up until 2012.

2) There is the illusion that the President somehow is responsible for creating jobs. Nothing could be further from the truth. Congress has more to do with that than the executive branch. The boom of the nineties happened when Republicans took power. This current collapse began when Democrats took it back.

Now Presidents can have an influence in the private economy through executive regulation and he can effect it, as is happening now, by inflicting a fear of uncertainty through amateurish stewardship where businesses hold onto capital not knowing what the government will do next.

3) Given this, if Republicans are successful and the economy comes back then Obama will claim we are starting to see the effects of his policies. The media will propagate this illusion.

4) Phase two of the battle between TEA Party conservatives and established moderate/liberal Republicans could heat up and split the ticket. In the same way Ross Perot handed the Presidency to Clinton, elected by a minority of 41%, Obama could likewise get a second term.

5) Hopefully Hillary will cause a similar rupture in the Democrat Party between liberals and progressives.

Finally !!

Due to French resistence to the untited effort in Iraq I did a post in November of 2005 about what a corrupt lying coward Chirac was. I think now is a good time to revisit it given this good news that was relevant then but largely ignored by the delirious anti-Bush press:

*** November 8, 2005 ***

"This message comes to you today from an old country, France, from a continent like mine, Europe, that has known wars, occupation and barbarity. A country that does not forget and knows everything it owes to the freedom-fighters who came from America and elsewhere. And yet has never ceased to stand upright in the face of history and before mankind. Faithful to its values, it wishes resolutely to act with all the members of the international community. It believes in our ability to build together a better world." - Dominique de Villepin 02/14/03

Speaking of Inbreeding.

My previous post on muslim inbreeding made me realize that the Western world has also had its moments of narrowing genetic diversity, particularly when it comes to European aristocracy. This was line of thought was brought on by a link on Drudge to ABCNews about Prince Charles ( Savior of the Planet ) talking to plants:
"I happily talk to the plants and trees, and listen to them. I think it's absolutely crucial," the prince says. "Everything I've done here, it's like almost with your children. Every tree has a meaning for me."
Thankfully Dianna provided some corrective genetic chemistry and the kids seem to be alright.

*****

As stream of consciousness goes, this then reminded me of Dave Coyne's Terry the Plant Physic. I can't find his originals but did manage to find this one on his YouTube channel DCLugi.

Another of my favorites:

Muslim Inbreds

Pajamas Media has an interesting article about inbreeding among Muslim society. That would explain a lot about their behavior and the spread of the islamic disease among the mentality deficient.

I do like this idea presented by the author that captures the problem of discussing such truths and the prohibition by political correctness:

The tragic effect of the left’s control of the boundaries of debate is that any discussion about vital issues such as these marks an individual as an “Islamophobe” and a “racist.”

So for the sake of avoiding discussion based on truth, society is condemned to abide in a world of false impressions.

Who's Politically Extreme ?

There is a link from InstaPundit to a WSJ article. In that article there is mention of John Kerry and a statement he made about the Tea Party Movement:
The Boston Herald reports that John Kerry, the haughty, French-looking former junior senator from Massachusetts, who by the way served in Vietnam, "mocked Republicans as 'Sarah Palin's party' ":

"The news from Delaware is crystal clear: It's Sarah Palin's party now," Kerry wrote in a fund-raising e-mail titled "Delawow!" distributed yesterday. "We have to fight back. Click here to contribute right now to make sure we defeat the Tea Party extremists."
The Herald quotes Glenn Reynolds, a libertarian law professor whom the paper misidentifies as a "conservative gadfly": "I think the Tea Party couldn't ask for any better publicity than to be denounced by a millionaire who dodges paying taxes on his yacht." Actually, make that a near-billionaire who married another man's fortune.

What caught my eye was "the Tea Party extremists".

This is a good indication of just how convoluted an 'extreme' leftist's thinking is.
What kind of person thinks that demanding adherence to our founding principles laid down in the Constitution is 'extremist'; that demanding accountability from our elected officials is 'extremist'; that advocating fiscal responsibility in federal spending is 'extremist'; that seeking to change business as usual in Washington is 'extremist'?

I also noticed something missed in the last line: "Actually, make that a near-billionaire who married another man's fortune." That man whose fortune Kerry enjoys, as if he had anything to with its accumulation, was a Republican. Then again, that is typical of Democrats - enjoying the wealth accumulated by others.

Semantic Follies Ver 3.0

In the beginning there was Global Warming. When evidence that the Earth was not warming then those who had been selling that brand of snake oil used semantics to deem it 'Climate Change'. When, after a couple of years it was pointed out that change is exactly what climate does, always has, always will, then more semantic blurring was required. So we now have 'Climate Disruption' to replace 'Global Warming, which is not happening and hurting their sales.

If you are buying that I imagine they'll make you a great deal on a bridge.

An Interesting Idea

H/t -> InstaPundit link to Volkoh Consipracy

A Constitutional amendment whereby two thirds of state legislatures could repeal a federal law.

I think this is a great idea because:

1) The states lost their role in a federation by the direct election of Senators. This leans some authority back towards the republican government guaranteed in the Constitution by giving authority of approval back to the States of which the federal government is subservient to. This has gotten reversed and needs to be corrected.

2) It would serve as a check against federal judicial activism.

3) It fast-tracks corrective measures short of a constitutional amendment for each issue.

4) It checks the influence of large regional power structures like California from imposing their policies on smaller areas of the country. So if the federal government attempts to force something like clean-air standards based on California's economically destruction regulation policies other states can negate that action.

To Burn, or Not To Burn

Well here's an idea I have on whether to burn the quran with the religion of peace threatening violence ( yep our world is just that Orwellian) or not... put the decision on the shoulders of the Cordoba Victory Mosque advocates... if they choose to go forward with their intolerance of others then the books burn, if they honor the wishes of those against building this mosque at that particular location then they will be returned with equivalent consideration and no books will burn. Using the same muslim logic if they choose to proceed then fault lies with them and not the pastor.

Bush come back !!

Instapundit has a link to a Victor David Hanson article listing 10 reason for missing Bush. The one that I found most entertaining was this one:

" 4) Who is the real yuppie? The media tried to paint Bush as the privileged yuppie, masquerading as the Texas rancher, idly chain-sawing on his spread. But at least Bush went to the Texas outback for vacation and got his hands dirty. Obama’s problem is that Axelrod and Emanuel could not stage a chain-sawing task for Obama if they tried — severe injury would surely follow."

Obama is no Reagan

From an Instapundit link:

Obama is not Reagan

A quick little piece that explains the Reagan recession so that even Krugman can understand the economics of his policy. Additional the author recognizes the role of a President in the private economy. Deficits are not part of that economy. If they are small and controlled they effect it very little, but when they are huge and out of control they can put undue pressure on the private sector. Kind of like a kid's piggy bank being safe until mommy and daddy get drunk and piss off all their money.

Obama's Message of Hope: It Could Be Worse

From Drudge link to MyWay News:

Obama's message to voters: Things could be worse

"This is a choice between the policies that led us into the mess or the policies that are leading out of the mess," Obama said recently in Las Vegas.

Yes Master, it could be worse and will be if we continue the same policies that got us into this mess like forcing banks to make unsound loans to people that will not and cannot pay them back as the 'social justice' policies that Democrats have supported since Jimmy Carter's brilliant Community Reinvestment Act lead us over the cliff.

Even Clinton has admitted as much:

"Americans don't have selective memory," Obama told NBC News recently. They'll remember "the policies that got us into this mess as well."

I disagree, apparently Obama, his administration, his party, his idiot supporters and the MSM parasites of his Ministry of Truth are suffering from selective amnesia or just blatantly deceiving for political advantage:

"This isn't about relitigating history," said Obama senior adviser David Axelrod. "This is about history repeating itself."

Precisely Mr. Axelrod.  Let us review the history we do not want repeated:

Mr. President, grow up, stop lying, man up to your part in this disaster...  you can't lead, you won't follow so please just get the hell out of the way and let the grownups deal with a serious crisis.

Time.Com :  Dems Start to Panic as Reality of Midterm Woes Sets In

Read more: http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,2004646,00.html#ixzz0u8Md3yLP

They are a little slow I think.  Anybody watching the news last summer should have gotten the clue that there is discontent among the voters and their elected officials.   The wrath at town hall meeting was largely against Democrats though several Republicans attempt to snuggle up to a TPM  event and were rudely booed off the stage.

So what will Democrats do now that a whiff of reality has blown their way?   My guess is that they will double down on stupid and attempt to pass as much of their agenda as possible in the time they have left not realizing that 'getting things done' may play well to their ardent fans but is actually the reason they are in this situation;  a stimulus that hasn't worked, promises of jobs that haven't been fulfilled and ineffective policies and a behemoth health care overhaul that will run through an already injured economy like a stampede of bulls.

Advice Based On Fallacy

Obama has called in Bill Clinton to get advice on the economy.  This is based on a common Democrat delusion that Clinton actually had something to do with the tech boom of the nineties.
Clinton, who presided over the 1990s economic boom, joined Obama at a closed-door White House meeting with business leaders to encourage job creation and investment, including in clean energy.
This is policy advice based on fallacious talking points.  The boom of that decade had more to do with the emergence of the web and the personal PC. Additionally it was the economic policies of the Gingrich Congress that took power in 1994 and turned the economy around because Clinton sucked so much in the first two years of his presidency.  Remember "It's the economy stupid"?

Obama should ask Gingrich in for economic advice.

NASA Does Religion ?

The President has given NASA a new mission: Give the dysfunctional muslim world the warm fuzzies.

NASA Administrator Bolden on Al Jazeera:
"When I became the NASA administrator -- or before I became the NASA administrator -- he charged me with three things. One was he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering," Bolden said in the interview.
I could go into many aspects of this but the one I will address concerns the establishment of religion. Imagine what the reaction would be from left-leaning pseudo elitists had this been Bush directing the Department of Education to reach out to Christians to help them feel good about their scientific history. This is a clear violation of the Establishment Clause deferring public policy ( at tax payers expense ) to one religion over others.

These same leftist would be quick to note the various Christan sects have been the adversary of modern science throughout history but they would not dare say this includes Islam. There was a contribution to science by the peoples of the Middle East up until the advent of Islam. Been brain-dead ever since.

This is a clear violation of the establishment clause and no funds should be allocated to carry out this directive.

Now, why is Obama doing such an obtuse thing?

1) Muslims can lie if it advances the cause of Islam.
2) Obama claims to be a Christian but does not act like one.
3) Obama is a liar.
4) Obama's sympathies lie with the Muslim world, not the Christian world.

It is not a stretch of the imagination that B. Hussein Obama is, in fact, a Muslim but lies about it for political purposes.

We need to get rid of him as soon as possible and limit the damage, I prefer the humiliation of impeachment.

2011: Investigate, Impeach, Imprison. Strip them all of entitlements for abuse of power.

Read My Lips, I will not raise taxes on the middle class.

Bush's 'Tax Break For The Rich' will expire Jan 1, 2011.

Here's the result:

- The 10% bracket rises to an expanded 15%
- The 25% bracket rises to 28%
- The 28% bracket rises to 31%
- The 33% bracket rises to 36%
- The 35% bracket rises to 39.6

Note that the biggest percentage increase is for the poorest by 5%. Which means the people Bush helped the most were those in the bottom bracket.

So all you folks out there snickering about Bush's tax break for the rich, about how Obama is not going to raise taxes.... well here comes the opportunity for all of us with common sense to arrive at a teachable moment... basically you're all idiots if you believe the Democrats bullshit. Looks like the pundits are going to have to memorize a whole new set of talking points.

I am not holding out hope that they will realize it was those who came up with the idea to force financial institutions to make unsound mortgage loans to minorities who couldn't/wouldn't pay them back that collapsed this economy and that Bush was actually reducing the deficit until he had to intervene to clean up their mess. Obama was right in the middle of this mess and it shows what a piece of dishonest shit he, Frank, Pelosi, Dodd, Biden et. al. are to point a finger at Bush.

The Fruits of Progressive Idiocy

The Democrats have a plan.... they want you to just die !!   Their  'Death Panels' will decide who gets service and who doesn't.

This is the high risk pool for those with pre-existing conditions.
"In addition, Popper said, many people won’t be able to afford to participate in the program since premiums will range between about $140 and $900 a month, depending on applicants’ age and where they live. HHS estimates that at least 200,000 people will be in the program at any one time. To be eligible, applicants have to be citizens or nationals of the United States or be lawfully present; have a pre-existing medical condition; and have been uninsured for at least six months before applying for the high-risk pool plan."

Personally I wouldn't have a problem if those who voted for this fiasco were thrown in prison like any other mental defective that is a threat to society. These are extraordinary times, the fruits of liberalism have ripened and now we are having to taste their bitterness. No more. Cease power by force and throw their asses out before they do anymore damage. They are domestic enemies that are intent on undermining the country.

My Blogging Absence.

It is interesting that before I lost my last contract on December 31, 2009 I used to blog daily while I awaited the next call from my clients.  Once I had a lot of time on my hands I decided that I was not going to get in the habit of sitting in front of the PC all day griping about things I can't change anyway.

Considering that I hadn't taken a vacation in ten years since that is something a contractor can rarely afford because days off are unpaid I decided I had enough money to take a little time off  before getting back to the grindstone. So I took the entire month off.  I decided that in this new era of my life I would do all those 'one of these days Imagonna's" things so I opened a Cafe-Express T-Shirt Shop, I moved this blog to the new blogger design, I paved an area out front where the water hose is all in January.  I was staying active, losing wieght and feeling great so I continued my efforts.

I calculated I could probably afford to I build a deck extension off of my porch so I began that.  My goal was to get all of this done by my birthday, May 5 when my peonies bloom. It was a goal I achieved and after all that time and effort here was the result:

This was my own little personal space where I could sit under the stars at night and was well shaded throughout the day.  I also built a shield over my peonies to try and get another week or two from the blooms:

Other than owing taxes all was right with the world.  I had managed to drop my weight down to about 250 which wasn't great but better than the 268 I weighed in January.

Then came May 10, 2010. In less than 8 seconds all that I had done was destroyed.

Living in Oklahoma you just gain a sense of ominous atmospheric conditions.  I think it was a common sentiment that something 'not good' was going to happen that day.  The day before was almost cold but by the next day the temperature would rise 20 degrees. The morning began cool and extremely humid. I spent the day 'battening down the hatches' around the yard.  By late afternoon the humid was sweltering and I was laboring to breathe as sweat dripped from my body as I put the finishing touches to getting lawn furniture, tools and plants put away.  Around 5:00 PM the storms began to roll and I turned my attention to weather information on the TV and Internet.

I live in a small town that had never been hit by a tornado.. until this day.  A friend called and told me the tornado was coming right down highway 9 that I live on but I was already watching the path to determine when to bail out to the shelter.  I had all three of my cats 'The Girls' inside as I monitored the action.

Here's what happened next.  I was checking one last time before running over to my neighbor's storm shelter.

( NSFW - Strong Language Warning )  Some people may be offended by my succinct yet adequately expressive of the emotions I was feeling as my life was being demolished.  If you can get past this then crank the volume to hear what I heard and imagine the sweltering humidity.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsI6ZCE4IPw

I climbed out through the branches and checked all of my neighbors who were all fine. These shots are the aftermath:

My front yard.

One of my former trees.

I was more fortunate than some down the street.

The deck I had built.

Because the tornado hit in the early evening that wasn't much that could be done as far as digging out. By the time it a friend got a chainsaw out to me it was dark.  The tornadoes had ripped and torn their way all the way down Hwy 9 and I-40 from Oklahoma City East about 60 miles so it took a while for him to get here and navigate the gawkers who were converging like vultures on the kill.

The next day I began cutting away the limbs from the carport an driveway to establish mobility.  Then I began to clear the tree from my front door:

The first week were sunrise to sunset debris removal with the goal of being getting as much wood as possible to the curb for the cleanup.  Though it was just a week it seemed like forever.  But in retrospect recovery of basic needs happened rapidly. By Wednesday the power folks were already laying out new poles. By Friday they were all erected and power restored.

I continued to cut wood. mostly by myself and had some friends come out the following Saturday to make on big push to get the trees  behind the house to the curb for the cleanup that would begin Monday the 24th. We made it and here was the result of that effort:

From this side that pile is about 5-6 feet tall. From the street it is about 8 feet tall.

Tomorrow I will post my account of the aftermath dealing with insurance companies, FEMA, adjustors and roofers.   But before I quit this post here are a few photos the first ones being taken of the tornado itself.

Crying Over Spilled Oil

Worst Oil Spills.

I hear all these wails of woe about the Gulf BP oil spill. Right now the number of gallons is... about 82 millions gallons.

Now check the first link. Saddam poured 520 million gallons into the Persian Gulf. Most environmentalist would have found this sufficient to have invaded and remove him from power.

Obama doesn't seem to care all that much because the more oil that leaks, the better his argument seems to the intellectually challenged to stop using petroleum. Same thing with immigration reform, if he does his job and enforces the law then there will be no need to legalize illegal border crossing.

He needs to be removed from power and run like Saddam. Then perhaps he can feel the 'Dreams From Our Fathers'.

Just Wondering

Since many are calling for a ban on offshore drilling because of this one mishap, shouldn't they also be calling for a ban on air travel when a plane crashes and kills hundreds of people? Or a ban on illegal immigrants bringing death across our southern border?

Wait and See

I have made comments in other blogs and even created a post that the success of the Obama stimulus was pre-determined history. Even if it was a total failure, as I believed then and now,Obama will claim that any recovery was from that Obmanation of wasted money. Of course his Ministry of Propaganda will follow in short order.

Wait and See.

Politicians: No Sense Of Magnitude

Right now there is an eruption on the mid-continent rift that has isolated Europe from access by air. It is putting enough ash in the atmosphere that it could well erase any warming possibly caused by man. Perhaps even inducing a cooling trend. And what is our idiot Congress busy doing ? Trying to pass legislation to 'save the planet' from man-made global warming. Absolute stupidity. Relatively speaking man's effect on global warming is about like a mosquito fart in a hurricane.

Gone Galt - Screw This !

For those that do not understand the rage against the government:

1) I am 'Caucasian'. Strike 1
2) I am male. Strike 2
3) I have been taught that if you work hard you will prosper.
4) I was taught that a college education will increase your earnings.
5) I was taught to be a responsible citizen.

I have lived my life to those last three principles. Haven't always succeeded but on the whole have striven to adhere to that life path.

So let's put the numbers to the results of living that way.

It is true that a college education increases your earnings. But it also increases your tax liability

I have worked hard and done without to get both an education and start my own business through hard work. But a politically correct world that is more interested in not hurting some emotionally weak person's feelings rather than a 'can do' attitude then efficient, cost-reducing hard work cannot me maximized.

1) I earned about 60K last year working out of my house under very stressful conditions: dealing with complete friggin idiots. The higher you go in a public structure the more idiotic they get.

2) After deductions and entitlement taxes I ended up with a taxable income of 38K

3) Out of that I owe 13K in taxes leaving me 25K for bills that run about 24K a year.

4) That leaves me $1K of 'fun' money to eat out, go to a movie, buy household items etc.

But reflecting on it had I laid around on my ass screwing until impregnating some women for these last nine years, producing a child each year, for a total of nine children then have you pay for their education, health and dental, perhaps incarcerate, feed and clothe for me I would now be getting 5700*9= $ 51,300 money back in tax credits for living expenses next year. Nor would I have had to sell any of my time earning a living.

I guess I am just stupid thinking all those things I was taught are true. They seem to be, my living standard has been good but in the end it was not the most profitable path.

Strike 3 I'm outta here. Game over. This rat ain't racing no more.

So I am going semi-Galt and pulling out of this BS. Not even going to look for another job in the tech industry. Why sell what time I have left working hard to try and build future security for myself?

So I am going to say to hell with this madness and get a job a menial job at night where I deal with as few people as possible, making enough to pay my bills, paying the least amount of taxes possible and achieve my goal of being left the hell alone and hoping to do my part to starve this vulgar monster, send this Democrat version of 'America' straight to hell from whence it came. Enough.

I am just going to be a happy idiot. And should I get ill in my old age, I am simply going to rob a bank, go to federal prison and make the public pay for it since they don't seem to have any kind of a problem supporting the dregs of society.

That's how the game is played and I regret it took me 55 years to get a clue.

Simple Newtonian Laws Of Motion

I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.

III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

II. Acceleration is produced when a force acts on a mass.
The greater the mass, the greater the amount of force needed.

Nostra-Iopius Predicts:

I predict that Andy Stern has retired from the SEIU for a number of reasons but that he did so mainly to become Obama's Ernst Rohm  - tasked with organizing Obama's street thugs. You didn't really think the money in that stimulus package was just to for the economy did you?  Some of it was to pay off special interests to get him elected and some of it was to lay the groundwork to keep him in power by 'organizing for America', actually organizing for Obama.

Seriously, why didn't Holder prosecute the New Black Panthers for intimidation of voters ?  He doesn't want to establish a precedent of upholding a clear violation of the law and human rights.

TEA Partier Weapons Of Choice

Enforce The Law, Kudos To Arizona

Arizona is finally arresting ILLEGAL immigrants. Few are against legal immigration.

There will be those that open the play book and scream racism but the reality is we simply can't afford to accommodate the populace of another country. Either they fix it themselves or we go down there and fix it for them.

How about this idea: instead of amnesty let's offer statehood to the northern states of Mexico. At least we'd gain their oil to offset the costs of providing for their people. Legalize drugs in those states. Then the drug gangs would have a local market and all the drug addicts would head south.

Alien Life Among Us

I've always held to the notion that life in the universe is the rule and not the exception. We really have no choice but to look for life similar to our own; carbon based requiring water and oxygen or carbon dioxide for respiration and energy production. But we are continually finding life forms thriving in temperatures we don't expect and thriving on chemistry that is not carbon based. Drudge has a link to an article where a live form doesn't need oxygen.

I truly think that one day life will be found all over the universe. If you think about it the Earth is so old that through subduction and vulcanism the Earth has turned itself inside out a couple of times. It is possible that civilizations have developed and declined leaving no trace they ever existed.

Many look outward for signs of alien life but there is also some rather bizarre life forms right here in our midst. This is a page with some rather odd living things: The MicroAngelo Image Gallery.

Quote Of The Day

Sir Joshua Reynolds ( 1723-1792 ) English Painter. Writer

There is no expedient to which man will not resort to avoid the real labor of thinking.

Quoted in Mason, Great and Mind-Liberating Thoughts

Deceptive Wording

As the midterms approach the next major issue will arise; Immigration Reform. I am certain the political pundits on the Left hope this will distract from the effort to fire up support for those wanting this health care ( insurance ) legislation repealed. The Left will generalize those opposing the attempt to add 30 million Democrats as another example of the racists of the Tea Party Movement. They do this by obfuscation of terms. Briefly let me point this out in this manner:

Conservative Immigration Reform: We cannot afford another 30 million people at the stroke of a pen, in particular those who have thumb their noses at our laws. Conservative immigration reform is simply to enforce the laws currently on the books and not reward those who have broken it and butted into the front of the line of those seeking citizenship through the proper channels.

Democrat Immigration Reform: In actuality it should be termed Illegal Immigration Reform. They couldn't care less about the people. They want the voters.

The only immigration reform we need is to address the anchor-baby problem.

But watch as pundits like Geraldo get dramatic about 'immigrants' when he means 'illegal immigrants'.

Alert: Pigs Are Flying

OK, Obama just got props from me on this one though I question his motives. Probably doing it because he needs a bigger taxation base. But it will creates jobs. Hope Nancy is sitting on her throne and there is a coronary unit not far from AL Gore's mansion.

I have a feeling Israel is about to attack Iran and he thinks we can just turn on production but that would take years. Had the Green Machine allowed this back in 2004 we'd be up and running. Plus it steals Palin's thunder.

On Religion and Militias

This is going to jump around but I promise I will tie the ends.

There are a couple of items in the news today. One is the 'Christian' militia story and the other is a judge ordering the father of a slain patriot to pay reparation to Fred Phelps. In John chapter 21:20-22 Jesus tells Peter that the fate of John is none of his business and that Peter would do well to be concerned with his own fate.

So in one aspect it can be said that it is of no concern to me. It isn't on a personal level but in another aspect they are defaming Christ by bastardizing His teaching. Since Jesus said we would know a tree by the fruit it bears and that not all who claim to be His followers are truly following Him.

Fred Phelps is not a Christian. Irrespective of what he and his followers may say their actions are anti-Christ. They hate. They are lying children of Satan. Enough said.

This militia is the same except they want to super-size hatred and kill. What these kinds of people miss is how extremely radical Jesus was. Jesus taught from a point of view beyond mortality, our original sin of simply being mortal.. made of nothing more than materials of the universe. But we are in God's image because we are conscious of our existence unlike a rock. We can connect to God's spiritual realm. We are to divorce ourselves of this world. Me must take a leap of faith into His realm by first letting go of the security of this world. If someone threatens to kill you because you won't deny Christ then you should let them kill you. If someone threatens to kill your child if you don't deny Christ then let them kill your child. Our nature finds this abhorrent because we are wired to cling to this life. But this is exactly what God did with Abram. Because Abram loved God more than his own life or Issac's life God made Abram into Abraham the father of nations.

Then there is this Armageddon/Anti-Christ aspect. A lot of people are caught up is this end-time phenomena. If you think about it the end of the world comes tens of thousands of times each day for people. It is foolish to sit and await this rapture. Dead is dead and it happens every day of every year. But a true follower of Christ should not resist the evil it produces let alone taking up arms and joining in the blood-lust.

But now the league of the ignorant in the media industry is going to portray Christianity, which teaches love and life, in a lesser light than Islam which teaches hate and death.

There is a verse in Revelations that I have always thought as a symbolic of Satan's modus operandi

12:3 Another sign was seen in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.

12:4 His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.

That to me describes the attitude of the 'elitists' in modern America culture. They wait to kill Christianity any way they can.

A Simple Proposal

It is common for many people to confuse our form of government as a democracy.  Democrats claim that the American people want this health care reform bill.  So simply put the question of repealing this legislation on the ballot in November as a national referendum and watch them change their tune that we are a representative republic.

Birds of a Feather Flock.

When I went to college I sought out other students who showed skills in computer sciences so I could learn from them and become a better computer scientist.  Same thing happens in other collegiate disciplines.

When Obama went to college he sought out communists, socialists, black nationalists, radicals and other grievance mongers.

Any questions?   Why hasn't any of the media asked him this?

Air Force One Converstaion

Dennis Kucinich and Obama had a conversation on Air Force One and Kucinich will now vote Yes. Of course Kucinich was against it because it did no go far enough in establishing a Government option.

I imagine the gist of it was something like this:

Obama: Uh, uh, umm, look Dennis we have a... COMMON GOAL. We, we can agree on THAT. The problem is an, umm, a, a difference in how TO GET THERE. But consider this, just consider this; it has been a long march of destiny that got me elected as the first African president, uh, I mean African, AMERICAN president. I, excuse me 'WE' have now arrived at the precise, uh, moment, with the ah, ah Congress on our side when I, uh, WE, must act IMEDIATELY. This moment is fleeting and it may be decades before the next opportunity comes AGAIN.

Now think about ..THIS. If this passes without a government option then at least we can get our foot..ah.. IN THE DOOR. Once the health insurance exchange is established I'll, WE, will have the Insurance Industry by the short hairs.. whoops please uh.. don't take offense at my use of SHORT.

Once I have the Insurance Industry submissive I will, I will, drain them DRY. Eventually the industry will just fade away causing our allies in labor, local government to call for a government BAIL OUT. Then like an amoeba we will simply surround them and ah, digest them into our GRASP.

So if you can just trust me and look, look at the ah.. BIGGER PICTURE then all health care we be mine, err I mean OURS.

Kucinich: That makes sense. Let me take this back to my constituents like my wife and her friends, soak on it a bit. I just ask one thing your glori..., Mr. President.

Obama: What's that Dav, ah ah Dennis?

Kucinich: Can I please place my lips on the actual skin of your ass?

Obama: Again? OK but I need ah, ah one more ah THING. Could you move a little to your left so I can see my mirror?

The People's Nuclear Option

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.

Essentially the People, being stockholders in this republic, can call a meeting to decide how the officers of the republic are going to behave.

WE CAN DO ANYTHING WE DAMN WELL WANT. If the President and Congress cannot use the powers granted them responsibly but rather to the detriment of the people then we can take power away from them.

This Slaughter rule is the straw that breaks the camel's back for me.  Talking and public display of digust are not enough.  Elections are not enough.  We are at a crossroads and action is necessary.

Moderate Dems Have Been Warned

Pat Caddell is one of the few Democrats I believe and have always appreciated his analysis on political matters. I think he's a square non-partisan kind of guy. In the WaPo he, along with Douglas E. Schoen call it like it is.

Mobius Thinking

At Townhall.com Linda Chavez has a piece concerning the nine lawyers selected by Attorney General Holder to defend Gitmo enemy combatants. It made me think about the different angles being played.

Liz Cheney's group, Keep America Safe, put out this video:

Those sympathetic to the radical cause are suffering sphincter knots. They take the higher ground espousing virtuously that lawyers shouldn't be tied to their clients crime. On the lower ground there are lawyers that defend because they are sympathetic to the cause.

Chavez makes good points all the way through and provoked a thought of the one angle missed. Say, a client has a defense attorney and reveals information under client/attorney privilege to the attorney. Then this attorney later joins a team that is to prosecute his former client. How can it be said this would be a prosecution on the high moral ground proffered by the DOJ ? .

Urinal Queueing Theory

It is difficult to explain how we develop a life-long curiosity about certain things. For me it is a curiosity about why living things behave the way they do. I can listen to someone speaking but irrespective of what they say I am more interested in why they say it the way they do. I imagine this is simply wired into our brains in the self-preservation section to detect intention, deception or threat.

We must remember that as complex as our systems are they still must obey the laws of physics. If we jump off of a building it doesn't matter what we think, rare naked physics is in control. Newton's fundamental principle of motion states that an object in motion will remain in motion until it encounters an equal force. Now if we want to get picking we could invoke the law of vectors we can account for angles, differing masses and velocities etc... but for this discussion a game of billiards exemplifies the concept of mass in motion.

Another example of this would be a drop of oil on a smooth sea surface. The molecules will expand until the molecular cohesion balances with the force of gravity. We exist in an expanding universe where entropy rules. The existence of any entity is regulated by the balance of forces but in the end everything loses it's existence the closer it all gets to equilibrium and the ultimat heat death of all things.

This applies to organisms. Even in calculus we do problems like determining the growth of bacteria in a petri dish where its growth is countered once it reaches the limits of the petri dish. This applies on even grander scales of human endeavor such as politics, business, sports, relationship and war. All of these are based on queuing behavior of organisms searching for equillibrium.

Now I did not have to go to a university to observe this behavior though I did study it decades later mathematically in computer data structures class. I worked in a manufacturing yard cutting angle iron on this big saw next to a road outside. Across the street was a run of phone lines on poles. I noticed that birds of the same species would queue up on the line evenly spaced. Usually the first bird or two landed towards the middle giving them an optimal distance on either side. The more birds the less the distance between them but the more evenly spaced they became.

Additionally I noticed another behavior as the line became crowded. If a bird of the same species tried to land in between two other birds a territorial fight would start. But if a bird of another species did the same thing they simply sat there as if that bird didn't exist.

We humans do the same thing. It can be observed on any commute as drivers defend their position and seek an optimum distance between potential threats. All of this observation has not been in vain. After many decades of diligent observation I devised my Urinal Queuing Theory. At first I thought I had stumbled on something original but later discovered I wasn't the first to notice this behavior. But every man knows it without having ever been taught it.

Suppose there is a public restroom with 5 urinals labeled A,B,C,D,E. Doesn't matter if we go right to left or left to right. A man enters a restroom and finds the following situations, what are his valid options?

1. A is occupied. Valid options: C,D,E
2. A & C are occupied. Valid options: E
3. A,B,C are occupied. Valid option: E
4. A & D are occupied. Valid options: Decision based on who appears to be finishing.
5. C & D are occupied. Valid options: A
6. C is occupied. Valid options A, E
7. 4/5 occupied. Valid options: the available urinal or an unoccupied stall.

There is an exclusion depending on what degree of familiarity exists between competitors. If a guy is out with his buds and they make a coordinated assault it doesn't matter the order.

If a man finds himself alone and stranger comes up in the adjacent stall he becomes a bit uncomfortable.
