I Feel Like Koko

Today I sympathize with Koko. My little cat Lightning broke one of her lower fangs. I let her out and an hour later she wanted in and I noticed it pointing straight out of her mouth. I dropped her off at the vet at 3:00pm where they will put her under in the morning to extract it. I know it is probably not that big of a deal but I feel sick, almost want to cry, doubt I will sleep tonight just worrying about her up there scared and alone. I am probably having just as much separation anxiety as she is. Tonight I won't have my TV watching buddy on my lap. Vet said he would give her just a little gas to put her out long enough to take it out but there is always a risk. I always dwell on the worst case scenario. This is going to be a long twenty hours.

Update: She will be home after lunch. Her sisters will be happy to see her. I have her some pot roast gravy ready.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...Poor Koko and poor Iopian - Hope Lightening enjoys the gravy! Clawed will not eat table food and usually will just play with a piece of bacon and we'll find it a month or so later under a bed or the couch - Mewna, on the other hand, has taken to loving the great outdoors - she's quite the mouser and is leaving me all the vital organs on the doorstep as trophies!

She was still a little groggy and ran into the closet when I let her out. I took a little time out and she jumped up on my lap and began to relax. She knows where she is now and out patrolling her territory to make sure all is well.

Mine have been considerate and brought dad their conquests to share. They are selfish with birds but mice... that's a different story.

Last time I took my cats to the vet they needed shots. Got them home and neither would even acknowledge my existence for three days. Guess they were upset with me.

Believe, I got an earful driving her home even though she was still doped up a bit.
