Jesse Jackson: Typical White Person ?

"The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity," he said. "But she is a typical white person. If she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know. . .there's a reaction in her that doesn't go away and it comes out in the wrong way."
- Sen. Barack Obama call to Philadelphia sports radio 610 WIP March 20. 2008

"There is nothing more painful to me … than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery, then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved."
- Jesse Jackson, as quoted in US News, March 10. 1996

Yes?!? I guess that goes to show that we all have a typical white woman (and angry black man) trapped inside us. The ;-)

I think it shows we all are able to survive in life by subconsiously calculating probability risks in our decision making. So the real issue that Jackson needs to address, to get to the essence of the problem, is why he thought that way.

Crime statistics holds the answer. The white man didn't commit that black-on-black crime. Neither did they impregnant their teenagers and abandon their offspring to fend for themselves.

People like Al Sharpton, Rev Wright and Jesse Jackson are the problem. They do nothing but keep the pot boiling so the revenue keeps coming in.
