Well it's tax time. I was waiting for a teleconference to begin yesterday with taxes on my mind while I read an article about government spending. So I got to wondering how long it would take the government to spend my federal tax.
In the article it said that government spending was at an all time. Somewhere around 650 billion. Then I googled how many seconds are in a year - 31,556,926 seconds.
Simple division tells us that the government will spend $20,598 a second.
What I earned in 2 months is pissed down the tubes in a mere 388 milliseconds.
To all illegal aliens, greasy palmed politicians, the regimes of Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Pakistan and other basket case members of the UN.... you're welcome.
