Just saw a commercial on FOXNews network. Not verbatum but close enough for the basis of a point:
"Genoicde is occurring in Dafur. It will take a strong UN force to intervene that can only be led by President Bush. President Bush stop the Genocide in Dafur"
Dafur is one of those favorite Leftist causes. It is a genocide committed by Islamic expansionism in Sudan. It is another front in the war against terrorists. The UN should be there.
At the same time one of the Leftist's least favorite issues is Iraq, where Bush has found himself quite busy ending two genoicdes in the country against the Kurds and the Shia.
So the imperialist American war machine and Bush's leadership is wrong to use in one instance and right to use in another instance ?
And you know that when they talk about a 'strong UN force' they mean a predominately American force.
