Dean: US Won't Win in Iraq

Drudge has this little nugget: Howard Dean: US Won't Win in Iraq

"I've seen this before in my life. This is the same situation we had in Vietnam. Everybody then kept saying, 'just another year, just stay the course, we'll have a victory.' Well, we didn't have a victory, and this policy cost the lives of an additional 25,000 troops because we were too stubborn to recognize what was happening."

Mr. Dean.... it was defeatist like you that bear the responsibility of those additional 25,000 deaths. Either Lead, Follow or STFU and let the grownups protect you.

The reason we didn't win is because self-deluded half-wits like Dean and most of the Democratic party keep mouthing this garbage throughout the world giving the perception that the US doesn't have the resolve to stay the course, and Bin Laden thanks them very much. Like Ho Chi Minh all the enemy has to do is wait us out because he is willing to take the casualties and employ brutality to achieve his political ends. Life is not so valuable in the third-world.

What Dean and the rest of that generation fail to realize is that they were the cause of a fallacious self-fulfillmg prophecy concerning Vietnam.

Can't never Could, Won't never Would.
