Misundercalculated

I peruse too many blogs to recall where I first heard this many months ago but now I see CBS News has finally caught up with the BDS-free blogoshpere and made a video out of it. Be sure to read it first so the following points will more fully explain the folly of listening to the Democrat leadership.

Of note was this paragraph:

'He also intended and had the wherewithal to restart the weapons program. "Saddam] still had the engineers. The folks that he needed to reconstitute his program are still there," says Piro. "He wanted to pursue all of WMD…to reconstitute his entire WMD program." This included chemical, biological and nuclear weapons, Piro says.'

Now I seem to recall sometime in the past I have heard some prominent people make the case for removing Saddam for the very reasons pointed out in the article. His history of mis-undercalculating events. Where and who was it that said this ?

Was it here ?

Or maybe here ?

Maybe the Democrats were right about Saddam being a threat.

But while they just talked the talk far nobler Americans walked the walk with no plan other than to win the war and then 'as the Iraqis stand up, we will stand down'. Fortunately for us all the Democrat leaders saw the folly of this goal and drew together a plan of their own to clean up the mess Bush had made.

Harry Reid lends his pesonal touch in framing the plan.

But then something that reqired a willful suspension of disbelief had already been put into action and was producing results.

With this in mind I can only conclude that:
